Following from the hugely successful Live at the Marquee in Cork which an array of legends have played over the last 2 years including Bob Dylan, Roger Waters, Christy Moore, Al Green and Brian Wilson. Bell X1 is the first act to confirm that they will play live at the Marquee on 1st July 2007.

Today’s Evening Echo referred to Peter Aiken as having said they are in “final negotiations” with at least 5 big names, but naturally he couldn’t mention any specifics. Neither was there any mention of where the marquee will be next year. While it’s most likely that this year’s new location at the old Ford lot adjacent to the old showgrounds site will be used again next year, you may want to wait for confirmation before booking your tickets and finding you have to make travel arrangements to get to the marquee in west Cork.
