November 2004: New features

• Add your own gigs -- Anyone can now add events to the listing. You specify the event details, and it will appear on the list as soon as it is approved by an administrator. Just click on the Add a Gig link at the top of the page.
• Review past gigs -- Until now the gig listing just showed events from today's date onwards. Now you can click on any month of the year since this site started and see who was playing where. In the future we'll add a feature allowing you to sort by artist or venue, but this will do for the time being!
• Improved comment pages -- You can now post longer comments, and we've fixed the problem that caused line breaks and paragraphs to disappear.

October/November 2004: Milestones

• 1,000 gigs have been listed on this site since its inception in March of this year.
• 10,000 visitors since the same time
• 500 people see this listing every week

August 2004: Mobile listing

CorkGigs.com events listing can now be viewed on mobile phones with WAP capabilities. This means you can check out what's happening in town (and in the county) when you're nowhere near a computer with an internet connection. Just point your phone's wap browser at wap.corkgigs.com -- more info is available on the WAP/mobile info page, or you can see what it looks like on the WAP emulator.

We've added a more printer-friendly layout of the listing for those who want to pin it up to their fridge or office noticeboard or whatever...
