The Crane Lane Theatre rose from the ashes of the former Club One (on Phoenix st, somewhat poetically) and first opened in 2006.
The venue makes good use of the space available, with the premises divided into three bars and a beer garden / smoking terrace.
Live bands in the Theatre Bar @ midnight Sunday through to Thursday. All midnight gigs are free to the public.
Capacity 350 standing plus smaller numbers with seating.
The Crane Lane Theatre is located in the remains of an old Gentleman's Club in the dead center of Cork City, and has been the scene of many a notorious event over the last 100 years. We have the Best Beer Garden in Corks City center and we continue to be inspired by the music of Mr. Tom Waits Our decor is from the 20's 30's & 40's We have 3 bars to choose from besides our Garden. The Stage Door, The Crystal Room and the Theatre itself, so whatever your mood or age we have a corner for you! Theatre performances, Burlesque nights, swing and lots and lots of Live music. Open seven days and seven nights a week from 2pm - 2am. We supply FREE live music from both national and international acts almost every night of the week.
